Darren Colbry - Owner

Darren Colbry – Owner, Colbry Enterprises

Darren Colbry, owner and founder of Colbry Enterprises, is a fifth-generation resident of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, with deep roots in the community and a strong family tradition of entrepreneurship.

After graduating from Foxcroft Academy in 2009, Darren pursued his passion for automotive restoration and refinishing at Wyoming Technical Institute (WyoTech). In 2010, he graduated from the Body and Paint Program, earning an impressive second-place ranking among approximately 2,000 students.

Following graduation, Darren returned to Maine and joined JC Auto Body in Veazie, where he spent the next decade refining his craft, expanding his technical expertise, and building a reputation for quality workmanship and attention to detail.

In 2020, Darren took a leap of faith and launched his own business, operating from his father's garage. For three years, he worked tirelessly in limited space while growing his customer base and establishing the reputation that would become the foundation of Colbry Enterprises.

With a vision for the future and family land that had been passed down through more than two generations, Darren began construction of a dedicated facility on West Main Street in the spring of 2023. By October of that year, Colbry Enterprises was fully operational in its new home, allowing Darren to better serve customers and continue expanding the business.

Today, Darren is proud to be a second-generation entrepreneur. His grandfather and father were both part of Mountain's Market for more than 60 years, instilling in him the values of hard work, integrity, and community commitment that continue to guide his business today.

Beyond his work, Darren is a devoted husband to his wife, Britnee, with whom he has shared more than 10 years of marriage. Together, they are raising three wonderful children. Darren is also the founder of the Piscataquis Radar Run, an event that supports and celebrates the snowmobiling community, and he actively sponsors fellow snowmobilers throughout the region.

Through Colbry Enterprises, Darren combines professional excellence, family values, and community involvement to deliver quality craftsmanship while continuing a legacy that has been built in Maine for generations.
